Quality Control and Assurance

Doha Waterproof Factory is committed to producing high quality HDPE Geomembrane Sheets, which are manufactured in accordance with international standards and QCS related to HDPE Geomembrane Sheet.

Some of the control measures include the implementation of an integrated management system, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Certificate of conformity (CE) as per the relevant standards (EN13491, EN13492, EN13493, EN13361, EN13362 and 15382).

We have control measures in place to ensure consistency and quality in our product. Our testing laboratory ensures that the characteristics of our geomembrane adhere to the standards.

Oxidation Induction Time (OIT) Test

The OIT test charecteristics the thermo oxidative stability of HDPE material accordance with the standard ASTM D 3895

Melt Flow Rate Test Machine

The melt flow rate is a one number indication of the viscosity of a HDPE in the melt phase. It is defined as the mass of polymer in grams flowing per 10 minutes through a capillary of specific diameter and length by pressure applied via a range of standard weight at specified temperature. The melt flow rate test is accordance with ASTM D 1238

Carbon Black Content Test Machine

This device is used to determine the carbon black content of HDPE geomembrane in accordance with the relevant standard ASTM D 1603

Universal Tensile Testing Machine

The device is used to determine the tensile properties of HDPE geomembrane in accordance with the relevant standard ASTM D 6693

Density Tester

Density tester is the device that meassures the density of the HDPE material by in accordance with the ASTM D 1505.

Thickness Gauge

This device is used to measure the thickness of HDPE geomembrane accordance with the relevant standard ASTM D 5199

Carbon Black Dispersion Test Machine

This instrument is used to check the uniform distribution of carbon added the product during production process in accordance with the relevant standard ASTM D 5596

Notched Constant Ligament Stress Test

This device is used to determine the susceptibility of HDPE Geomembrane to slow crack growth under a constant ligament stress in an accelerating environment accordance with the relevant standard ISO ASTM F 5397
